The Ambient Mafia invited me to play at Unison 6. The two-day livestream was a benefit for the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, a non-profit strategy and action center based in Oakland, California. Together we raised over $10k to help break the cycle of disinvestment and incarceration in communities of color.
My set was pretty wacky. It's a mix of afro tech, downtempo organic house, and a little dark disco. I was the 2nd opener on a Friday evening so I tried to make it energetic for the after-work crowd while sticking to downtempo tempos.
