It’s (for) the Dog’s Knees

Over the weekend I played my first “live” DJ gig in over 5 years for a benefit for a friend of a friend’s dog. Dino needs expensive knee surgery, so like most folks in SF they held a party and asked everyone to donate. The Stargaze crew provided sound, beats, and lasers for the night and we all had a lot of fun playing on a real sound system in a warehouse.
One main highlight for the night was playing with Kevin’s full-spectrum laser. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a rave — when I left blue lasers were just making an entrance. I’d seen his laser once before, but that was a few years ago and I didn’t really get to see it as well as last Saturday. I couldn’t shoot video from my iPhone, so I took some stills and made a fun gif animation.
